little helpers
We have a big dresser/entertainment center project going on and the twinkies wanted to help. At least they didn't get in the paint.

hooray!
They all sat still for 3.2 seconds! Pay no attention to the freaky look Mary Beth is making. But you know right after this, the twins stood on the chairs and Mary Beth went running around in circles until she hit a doorframe.
Such is my life.
AND an actual good pic of me and mini-me!!

better late than never?
What happens when you have a full time job, a 4 year old and twin 1 year olds? You forget to post photos from a trip that happened over two months ago.
Oops.
Mary Beth and I ditched the kiddos and hubby/dad and ventured down to Corpus Christi for her Auntie Kim's Nurse Practioner graduation. It was the second week in a row where we escaped -- something we'll probably never get the chance to do again.
We headed out to the beach, enjoyed dinner with the big group (though it was LATE and Mary Beth was starting to lose it), went back and played in the ocean before Kim's graduation, and much more. I learned that Mary Beth has NO fear in the water, which is both good and bad. She's not a fan of putting on sunscreen, which I distinctly remember myself hating when Mom would slather it on me in Galveston every summer. And she likes to jump on hotel beds. Naturally.
Oh, and she brought 4 swimsuits because she's 4. Kim said she had the same mentality when packing her own suitcases...
